PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device in which even when an electromagnetic coil is used for a switch part, compact size, low cost and power saving can be attained.SOLUTION: An output voltage used in an image forming apparatus 1 is generated from an AC power supply 2 by means of a first power supply circuit 3. A switch 8, opening/closing thereof being controlled by means of opening/closing coils 9, 10, can suppress an output voltage in a closing state. A power supply switch 11 is operated by a user, causes the switch 8 to be in an opened state while it is being operated by the user, and suppresses the output voltage when an operation by the user is absent and when the switch 8 is in the closed state. A control part 6 detects that the power supply switch 11 is operated by the user, and when the output voltage is not suppressed before the detection, causes the switch 8 to be in the closed state after the operation is completed, so as to cause the output voltage to be suppressed. |
