PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine which can prevent unevenness of length of needle thread left on a sewing needle side.SOLUTION: When a drive rod 61 shifts further forward while pushing a drive rod 59 forward, the drive rod 61 contacts to a base unit 62 of a regulation system 60. The drive rod 61 pushes the base unit 62 forward. The regulation system 60 shifts forward and catches a thread guard unit 55a of a thread take-up spring 55 between an end abutment 64 and a projection 51d. The rocking of the thread take-up spring 55 is regulated. A lower moving blade 21 and an upper moving blade 22 are collaborate by drive of a solenoid 31 of a drive unit 30 and cut needle thread 7a and bobbin thread 7b. A sewing machine 1 cuts the needle thread 7a and the bobbin thread 7b in a state where the rocking of the thread take-up spring 55 is regulated. |
