PURPOSE: An optical device including an optical sensor and an optical lens testing device thereof are provided to automatically diagnose the existence and the size of contaminants on the surface of an optical lens by using the optical sensor before a vision test and the acquisition of images. CONSTITUTION: An optical device (200) including an optical sensor includes a light sensing unit (210), a conversion unit (220), and a contamination determining unit (240). The light sensing unit senses optical signals of the optical sensor. The conversion unit converts the optical signals into comparison data for determining the existence of contaminants on the surface of the optical lens. The contamination determining unit compares the comparison data and a reference value previously stored, thereby determining whether both are matched or not and generates match signals or mismatch signals.
