PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust the amount of light emission of a light-emitting device in forming an image having density in accordance with the amount of light emission of the light-emitting device on an image carrier.SOLUTION: On a photoconductor drum 21, or in an area of attention common to a plurality of transfer materials p to which developing materials are attached by the photoconductor drum 21, a plurality of images having different densities from each other are formed. Density of each of the plurality of images formed is measured, and a threshold of a drive current of a light-emitting device that emits light for exposing the area of attention (specific image area) when densities of the images in the area of attention start to change is identified on the basis of the amount of change in density of each of the measured images. Subsequently, the drive current is corrected with the threshold taken as a reference. |
