PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for treating conditions requiring removal or destruction of harmful or unwanted cells in a patient, such as benign and malignant tumors.SOLUTION: The invention is directed to methods for using compounds containing peptides (NTP peptides) comprising a part of the amino acid sequence of a neural thread protein, the peptides being derived from the amino acid sequence of a pancreatic thread protein, and pharmaceutical compositions for treating conditions requiring removal or destruction of cells. Furthermore, a nucleic acid encoding an amino acid sequence corresponding to the peptides is provided. |
