PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system having a plurality of display areas with one active area defined, which does not require complex procedures to select icons.SOLUTION: A display system 100 includes a main input screen 32 for selecting icons 63 by means of selection manipulation, and a display screen 52 which displays a plurality of display areas and presents one of the plurality of display areas as an active area 69. A display control unit 53 for controlling display on the display screen 52 prestores a specific manipulation as a switching manipulation. The display control unit 53 assesses whether or not a manipulation performed on the main input screen 32 is the switching manipulation stored therein and, if the assessment is affirmative, switches the active area 69 from one display area 621 to another display area 622. Thus, a user is able to continuously perform a manipulation for selecting an icon 63 and a manipulation for switching the active area 69. |
