PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of suppressing incursion of foreign objects.SOLUTION: A steering device includes an inner tube 26 for housing a lower shaft 22, an upper shaft 21 linked with the lower shaft 22, an outer tube 24 fixed to the outer circumference of the inner tube 26 to enable adjustment of an axial length and having a through-hole 25 opened in a part overlapping the inner tube 26, a pole 51 having a tilt bolt 35 supported on a car body side bracket, and a cam ring 52 disposed on the tilt bolt 35 of the pole 51, pressed into contact with the inner tube 26 by rotating an operation lever, and configured to regulate the axial relative movement of the inner tube 26 and the outer tube 24. The steering device includes a covering member 60 for covering the steering wheel side of the part of the through-hole 25 where the cam ring 52 is not located, and one end of the covering member 60 is connected to a winding mechanism 65. |
