PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the problem of causing a malfunction in disk insertion and ejection because a front panel of an optical disk drive is inclined by a gap (backlash) between components to come into contact with a housing of a PC with the optical disk drive mounted thereon.SOLUTION: A disk tray that moves with respect to a rail guide attached to a bottom case of the optical disk drive through a rail is provided, and the disk tray and the rail guide have projection parts that apply stress to each other to come into contact when a disk is inserted. This reduces the gap to reduce the problem of the malfunction. The contact with the projections is made close to point contact. Contact places are three or four places. The rail guide is provided with a support part for generating the stress. |
