PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cover glass for a display which can secure good transferability and release-ability and is hard to cause cracks during mold release.SOLUTION: A cover glass for a display provided so as to cover an image display portion of the display is equipped with a glass molding member 10G manufactured by glass molding. The glass molding member 10G includes: a main surface part 13; a connection part 14 provided on the outer edge of the main surface part and bending in a direction away from the front surface 11 as it goes from the main surface part 13 to the outside; and a side surface part 15 provided on the outer edge of the connection part and formed on the opposite side of the main surface part with the connection part sandwiched therein. The board thickness of the connection part 14 and the side surface part 15 is not less than 1.2 mm and not more than 1.7 mm, respectively. The taper angle formed between the main surface part 13 and the side surface part 15 is not less than 5° and not more than 45°, the curvature radius of the inner side of the connection part 14 is not less than 2 mm and not more than 4 mm, and the overall height of the glass forming member 10G in the direction perpendicular to the main surface part 13 is not more than 15 mm. |
