PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having a rotor structure causing neither distortion due to temperature change nor any manufacturing problem; and a method of manufacturing the motor.SOLUTION: Permanent magnets 28 are not contacted with each other and deformable insertion members 40 are respectively disposed between end surfaces of the permanent magnets 28. The insertion members 40 are the elastically or plastically deformable members. The thickness of the insertion members 40 in a rotation axis direction of a rotor is set so that the adjacent permanent magnets 28 adhered to a rotor core 26 in a temperature range when the rotor is manufactured are not contacted with each other at a lower limit temperature in a service temperature of a motor.
