<p>Provided is an electric device that is capable of preventing the waste of power by carrying out return corresponding to a return instruction when any of a plurality of return instruction-receiving units has received a return instruction. A multifunction device comprises two operation states, namely a power-saving state in which limiting of the power required for the execution of the functions of said device is carried out and a normal state in which limiting is not carried out, and is provided with a LAN-Cnt (8) and a home key (51) that receive an instruction for returning to the normal state.
