PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor that has favorable rectification properties and prevents a decrease in a power coefficient, and to provide a vehicle provided with the same.SOLUTION: A DC motor 1 includes a yoke 3, field magnets 4, and an armature 30. A shaft 10 is arranged on a central axis of the armature 30. A plurality of commutator bars 7 are arranged in a circumferential direction of the shaft 10. A plurality of armature slots 21 are formed on an outer circumference of an armature core 2. Each of upper coils 5a has a number of turns Na, and is wound around at opening sides of a pair of the armature slots 21 that are spaced with a predetermined number of the armature slots 21 in between. Each of lower coils 5b has a number of turns Nb, and is wound around at bottom sides of the pair of the armature slots 21. The number of turns Na is smaller than the number of turns Nb. |
