PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight zoom lens system having a short overall length as well as excellent optical performance, and further provide an interchangeable lens apparatus and a camera system.SOLUTION: A zoom lens system comprises, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens group having positive optical power; a second lens group having negative optical power; a third lens group having positive optical power; a fourth lens group having positive optical power; and a fifth lens group having negative optical power, wherein the first lens group is composed of only optical elements having optical power, in zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end at the time of image taking, at least the first lens group is fixed with respect to an image surface, and the condition: 0.7<|M/M|<11.0 (M: an amount of movement of the fourth lens group with respect to the image surface in zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end at the time of image taking, and Mis an amount of movement of the fifth lens group with respect to the image surface in zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end at the time of image taking) is satisfied. There are also provided an interchangeable lens apparatus and a camera system. |
