PURPOSE: An electronic device, a control method, and a computer readable recording medium thereof are provided to reduce the booting time of a system by using a power saving mode and a log-off mode. CONSTITUTION: A non-volatile memory (130) stores an operating system (OS), and a non-volatile memory (140) is used in the operation of the OS. A user interface (UI) unit (120) receives a termination command for terminating the operation of the OS.
