A vane pump apparatus is disclosed. The vane pump apparatus comprises: a pump housing which has a cam ring for guiding a pumping operation of a fluid and a driving shaft provided to pass through the central part of the cam ring; a rotor which is rotationally disposed in the cam ring of the pump housing and receives power from the driving shaft, and which has a plurality of slot grooves spaced from each other around the circumference of the rotor in the radiating direction with respect to a rotational axis; a plurality of vanes which are disposed to be inserted into the slot grooves of the rotor, and which are moved in and out of the slot grooves by the cam ring so as to pump the fluid when the rotor is rotated; and a vane control unit for controlling the movement of the vanes and adjusting the pumping power thereof.
