PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connector which is convenient in assembly at site, and which is excellent in optical transmission performance.SOLUTION: An optical fiber connector includes: a clam mechanism for holding an optical fiber; a ferrule fixed to one end of the clamp mechanism; and an internal housing mounted on the outer periphery of the clamp mechanism and the ferrule. The ferrule is formed with an insertion hole, and the optical fiber is inserted into the ferrule after passing through the clamp mechanism, and the outer periphery of the edge face of the optical fiber is formed with a chamfer. |
