The autobody (1) has B-columns (2a,2b) on each autobody side and a heel plate (4) extending between the B-columns. The straight reinforcing struts (3a,3b) are provided for increasing the autobody rigidity. The reinforcing struts are connected firmly at the autobody on one side in the area of the heel plate and on the other side in the area of one B-columns against the driving direction of the vehicle, such that a corner area formed by the heel plate and one B-column is covered. The reinforcing struts are formed of steel or extruded aluminum profile, aluminum alloy, magnesium or fiber composite material.
