The coil (1) has a contact plate (10) for forming an electrical interconnection between a secondary winding (2) and a high voltage terminal (8). The plate comprises a fastening region for fastening at a fastening component i.e. secondary coil body (3), where the fastening region exhibits a fastening geometry without pointedly tapering regions. The fastening region comprises two arc-shaped regions (11, 12) that are arranged opposite to each other at the plate, where a bottom side of the plate is rectilinearly formed. The fastening component comprises a pocket (30) for retaining the plate.
