SIDEPIECE ASSEMVLY FOR A SPECTACLE FRAME

This hinge is constituted by a first hinge part (2) relating to the side and hinged to the second hinge part (3) connected to the front part (4) of the spectacles. The first hinge part (2) is rigidly connected to a plane slideway (5) and interacts by means of the latter with a plane wavy spring (6). This spring (6) and the slideway (5) are enclosed in a housing of the corresponding side (1B). The slideway (5) is equipped with a head (5a). When this head reaches the rim (4a) of the front part (4), a position of limited opening of the side is reached, preventing excessive deformation of the spring (6). The hinge thus makes it possible to put the spectacles on correctly by opening them to a width slightly greater than that of the wearer's head in order to facilitate fitting them.
