PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time required when outputting an image signal from an image signal output apparatus being a non-CEC-relative apparatus and displaying the image signal on an image signal display apparatus.SOLUTION: A repeater apparatus comprises: an image signal input monitoring unit which monitors whether an input signal has been inputted to an input unit of the repeater apparatus; and a signal generation unit which, when the image signal input monitoring unit detects that the input signal has been inputted to the input unit from a PC being a non-CEC-relative apparatus, generates a signal to give an instruction to supply power to a TV and a signal to give an instruction to display on the TV an image signal to be outputted from an output unit, and causes the signals to be outputted from the output unit. |
