PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing a functional sheet excellent in linearity to an end in the width direction and uniformity of film thickness to ends when obtaining the functional sheet formed of a stripe pattern.SOLUTION: A flat plate 13 is disposed between a transfer roll 2 and a back-up roll 3, and a coating 4 is made to pass between a thickness adjustment roll 1 and the transfer roll 2 to form a coating film 6 on the transfer roll 2. Part of the coating film 6 on the transfer roll 2 is removed by a removal head 8a on a removal roll 8. When a portion of the coating film 6 of the transfer roll 2 that is not removed by the removal head 8a is transferred to a surface of a base material 7 traveled along the surface of the back-up roll 3, a relationship between a clearance t1 between the base material 7 and the flat plate 13 and a clearance t2 between the transfer roll 2 and the flat plate 13 is set to be t1<t2, so as to move a surplus portion of the coating film 6 to the clearance t2 side. |
