PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device, a liquid crystal display device and an electronic apparatus having a wide viewing angle and a smaller number of manufacturing steps or masks compared with conventional ones and requiring a low manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a first electrode wholly formed on one surface of a substrate, a first insulating film formed on the first electrode, a thin film transistor formed on the first insulating film, a second insulating film formed on the thin film transistor, a second electrode having a plurality of openings formed on the second insulating film, and a liquid crystal between the first electrode and the second electrode, in which the liquid crystal is controlled by an electric field between the first electrode and the second electrode. |
