PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass production apparatus capable of preventing production of bubbles in a glass region near a platinum vessel without incurring a cost increase and a glass production method using the same.SOLUTION: A glass production apparatus 1 used in at least a part of a melting step 31, a fining step 32, supply steps 36-39, a homogenization step 33 and a molding step 35 is provided with a ceramic porous body having open pores at the outer side of a platinum vessel made of platinum or platinum alloy, wherein a glass component is impregnated into the open pores. |
