PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station and an information providing server capable of continuously providing a non-voice service, a message service in particular, even in the case of having made transition between areas different in radio access technique.SOLUTION: UE 100 determines that an SMS over IP is unavailable, by communication via a radio access network. If determining that the SMS over IP is unavailable, the UE 100 executes a short message service using an SMS over NAS, even if it is configured to use the SMS over IP with a higher priority than the SMS over NAS. |
