PURPOSE: An LED dot matrix and an electric sign board device including the same are provided to automatically replace a broken LED with a connected redundancy LED by detecting disconnection of an LED in the LED dot matrix. CONSTITUTION: An array of LEDs is arranged between a plurality of first electrode lines and a plurality of second electrode lines. Each redundancy LED (12) is connected to each LED in parallel and changed into a conduction mode in response to a selection signal. A redundancy decoder (160) constructs a conduction path of the redundancy LED which is connected to a broken LED in parallel by decoding a repair signal which selects the broken LED among LEDs which are arranged between the first and second electrode lines.
