The tool (40) has a coupling unit (46) at a proximal end (41) for removably coupling with a distal end (22) of a shaft (20) of a medical instrument. The coupling unit has the shape of a helical section of a circular cylindrical shell. The coupling unit has the form of a helically-shaped cutout strip of a circular cylindrical shell or the shape of a section of a circular cylindrical shell, where the width decreases in a proximally continuous or discontinuous manner. The inner diameter of a cylindrical mantle corresponds substantially to the outer diameter of a transmission rod (30). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a coupling for a portion of a non-destructively detachable medical instrument of a handling unit or shaft; and (2) a method for manufacturing a coupling element for or on a proximal end of a tool for a medical instrument, or for or on a proximal or distal end of a shaft, or for or on a handling device for a medical instrument. |
