<p>The device (10) has a carrier (40) comprising multiple receptacles (41) in which a firework load (25) is partially arranged. An ignition element (27) fires the firework load. The firework load is surrounded by a container (21), which is partially arranged in the receptacles. The ignition element is laterally guided inside and/or out of the container. The firework load and/or the container are arranged in a lower portion (48) of the receptacles. The ignition element is clamped in a downwardly open recess (43), which is extended in the carrier.
