PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which realizes flexible correspondence in accordance with received video information, has high in operation rate and efficiency. SOLUTION: A video signal display device includes two systems from a tuner portion to a demultiplexer. The device receives an RF signal including a plurality of transport streams. When at least one of first compression video data and second compression video data is large throughput per unit time based on a profile and a level, the first compression video data and the second compression video data are extracted in parallel and desired video is displayed.
