PURPOSE: A filter and a filtering control method thereof are provided to maintain a frequency bandwidth regardless of the size of a core frequency. CONSTITUTION: A band pass filter (BPF) (100) comprises a resonator (110) and a reactance element. The resonator resonates with the core frequency of a filtering band. A reactance element controls a quality factor in order to control a bandwidth which is changed according to core frequency changes. The input end of the reactance element comprises a first reactance variable element and a second reactance element connected to the output end of the resonator.
