PURPOSE: A synchronizer for a manual transmission is provided to prevent the generation of relative velocity between a sleeve and a clutch gear. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer for a manual transmission comprises a sleeve, a synchronizer ring, and a clutch gear. The sleeve is connected to a shift fork and axially slides on the outer circumference of a hub gear spline-joined to a main shaft. The synchronizer ring comes in touch with the sleeve along with the movement of the sleeve to synchronize while stopping the movement of the sleeve. The clutch gear is integrally fixed to a speed gear which rotates along with a shaft to be joined to the synchronizer ring. The clutch gear offsets the rotation speed difference of the speed gear and hub gear and is interlocked with the sleeve. |
