PURPOSE: An artificial pancreas is provided to simplify manufacture thereof and to stably supply insulin while occupying a small volume. CONSTITUTION: An artificial pancreas comprises an encapsulated islet; an additive that binds the encapsulated islet with a support; artificial blood vessel in contact with the encapsulated islet; and the support that is rolled such that the artificial blood vessel faces inward. A manufacturing method of an artificial pancreas comprises steps of: encapsulating an islet; attaching the encapsulated islet on a support; arranging artificial blood vessels on the encapsulated islet; and rolling the support such that the blood vessel faces inward.
