PURPOSE: A liquid crystal device is provided to prevent the generation of a domain in a pixel, thereby improving the transmittance of a screen. CONSTITUTION: A common electrode (14) is equipped on an upper side of a small wall. A wall electrode (161) is formed inside a large wall. A plane electrode (162) is formed between the small wall and the large wall. A pixel electrode (16) comprises the wall electrode and the plane electrode.
