PURPOSE: A leveler for a coke oven is provided to install an adhered coal preventing plate from passing through the separating spaces between a pair of protrusions which are arranged to be mutually opposed, thereby preventing an adhered coal from being generated because the raw coal piles up in the separate spaces between the pair of protrusions when the beam moves forwards and backwards. CONSTITUTION: A leveler for a coke oven includes a pair of beams(210), plural protrusions(211), and a pinion means(220). The pair of beams(210) penetrate inside a carbonizing chamber, and are arranged to be mutually opposed. The plural protrusions(211) protrude at the same distance from mutually opposed surfaces of the pair of the beams(210), and are separated to be arranged along the extended direction of each beam(210). The pinion means(220) meshes with the protrusions(211), and integrally moves the pair of beams(210) forwards and backwards. The plural protrusions(211), which protrude from each beam(210), are arranged to be mutually opposed. The plural protrusions(211), which protrude from each beam(210), are alternately arranged. The protrusion(211) is manufactured into a rectangular parallelepiped. At least one side surface of the protrusion(211) is installed to be horizontal to a width direction horizontal plane on the inside of the carbonizing chamber. |
