PURPOSE: A facility guide system for visually impaired people is provided to easily obtain information without touching a guide map to know an actual position and a name in a facility and not to change a guide board even if the actual location or a structure of the facility is changed. CONSTITUTION: A facility guide system for visually impaired people comprises a guide board (300), a guide board support (400), a guide direction detecting unit, a voice storing unit, a sound generating unit, and a control unit. The guide direction detecting unit detects a direction, which a user desires to get a guide, being positioned inside or outside of the guide board. The voice storing unit stores the voice of facility guide information for each direction. The control unit controls the voice of the facility guide information, which corresponds to the direction the user desires to get the guide and which is detected by the guide direction detecting unit, is sent out through the sound generating unit. |
