PURPOSE: An exhaust gas purification device is provided to prevent the production of ammonia sulfate salts by reducing the possibility for the exhaust gas possibly containing sulfur oxides to contact ammonia. CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas purification device comprises a denitrification bed(110); a desulfurization bed(120); a hopper(130); and an opening/closing switch(140). The activated carbon is contained in the denitrification bed. The denitrification bed removes nitrogen oxides(NOx) contained in the exhaust gas using ammonia gas. The activated carbon is contained in the desulfurization bed. The desulfurization bed is arranged in the lower part of the denitrification bed, and removes sulfur oxides(SOx) contained in the exhaust gas. The hopper accepts the activated carbon ejected from the denitirfication bed, and supplies to the desulfurization bend. The opening/closing switch opens/closes an exit of the hopper and controls the supply of the activated carbon and the flow of the exhaust gas which is ejected from the denitrification bed and flowed in to the desulfurization bed. |
