PURPOSE: A purifier for lubricating oil in a rolling mill is provided to prevent damage to a bearing due to the lack of lubricating oil, by effectively removing moisture from the lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION: A purifier for lubricating oil in a rolling mill comprises an oil tank(80), an auxiliary tank(90), a pump(86), a first valve(84a), a second valve(92), moisture sensors(102,104), oil sensors(106,107), and a control part. The moisture sensors sense moisture remaining in the auxiliary tank. The oil sensors sense the amount of oil stored in the auxiliary tank. The control part determines whether or not the pump, the first valve, and the second valve operate depending on signals transmitted from the moisture sensors or the oil sensors. |
