摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility of design of hot wires for a deicer such as a wiper.SOLUTION: A deicer control device includes hot wires 1 provided to glass of a vehicle, a power supply circuit 7 for applying a voltage to the hot wires 1, a first temperature sensor 2 for measuring the temperature of the portion of the glass to which the hot wires 1 are provided, a second temperature sensor 3 for measuring the temperature of a terminal of the glass which is nearest a portion where the temperature is measured by the first temperature sensor 2, a calculation part 4 for calculating a thermal stress in the range between the first temperature sensor 2 and the second temperature sensor 3 based on the measured temperature information input from the first temperature sensor 2 and second temperature sensor 3 thereto, and an ECU 5 having a function which instructs the power supply circuit 7 to stop the application of voltage when the value of the thermal stress calculated by the calculation part 4 is larger than an allowable thermal stress value which is a specified thermal stress value at which the glass is not damaged and which instructs the power supply circuit 7 to re-apply voltage when the value of the thermal stress calculated by the calculation part 4 is equal to or less than a re-application thermal stress value which is a specified value of less than the allowable thermal stress value. Using the deicer control device, the flexibility of design can be improved.
