PURPOSE:To display flaws with a proper accentuation by determining and indicating an addition mean, a difference from the reference data and the maximum value at the same address with an arithmetic circuit based on signals received converted into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The reflected waves or transmission waves of an ultrasonic wave applied on an object to be inspected are received with a probe 2 and a received analog signal is formed with a receiving circuit 3 and converted into a digital signal through an A/D converter 17. A display data formation circuit 18 determines and sends a display data corresponding to an addition mean, a display data corresponding to a difference from the reference data or a diaplay data showing the maximum value at the same address within several inspection data based on the inspection data from the A/D converter 17. A control circuit 16 writes the inspection data into memories 19a-19c of the data formation circit 18 based on a synchronous signal and reads out a display data to control. |
