PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow sodium leakage from a structure containing sodium therein to be detected with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A sodium leakage detection device includes: an aerosol compressor 11 that takes in an atmosphere gas 2 around a structure, apparatus, piping 1 or the like, containing sodium therein and compresses aerosol generated by sodium leaking into the atmosphere gas 2; an aerosol collector 12 that introduces the atmosphere gas 2 in which the aerosol is compressed by the aerosol compressor 11 and collects the aerosol; and a sodium analyzer 13 that converts the aerosol in the atmosphere gas 2 introduced from the aerosol collector 12 into plasma, by separating a wavelength of fluorescent light generated, measures a sodium concentration in the atmosphere gas 2 before the aerosol is compressed and detects the sodium. |
