<p>Provided is a hinge device for a console box, the hinge device being lightweight and rigid and operating satisfactorily. A hinge device is provided with a resinous base hinge, a resinous arm hinge which is engaged with the resinous base hinge in a swingable manner, a pressing member which presses the resinous arm hinge in the opening direction, and a friction member which prevents the resinous arm hinge from swinging and which is provided in a portion in which the resinous base hinge and the resinous arm hinge overlap each other within a swingable range.</p> |
