The device has a guiding element supporting and guiding a carrier element e.g. photo diode, where a drive i.e. stepping motor, is attached to the guide element. The carrier element is reversibly and forwardly moved in the guiding element by the drive. The guide element is arranged in a holding module and formed as an open hollow section for supporting and guiding the carrier element that is supported on supporting surfaces of the guide element during goods transportation. A transferring unit of the drive engages with a transferring unit (8) of the carrier element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a carrier element (2) a conveyer system.
