PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which achieves the facilitation of release from an error that arises accompanied by the processing of a job, and the prompt processing of the job in which the error arises.SOLUTION: A storage part 7 stores processing-correspondence data in which correspondence to processing corresponding to a content of the error that arises in a process of printing image data formed from a print job is preset. A discrimination part 13 detects the arising of the error, and discriminates whether the print job is processed by the apparatus itself or processed by the other apparatus corresponding to the detected error based on the processing-correspondence data. When the discrimination part 13 discriminates that the print job is processed by the apparatus itself and the print job related to the detected error is not processed by the apparatus itself, a controller 15 controls to perform release from an error state in the apparatus itself through an error release part. |
