PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can be used even if an installation posture thereof is changed and can minimize occurrence of a paper feeding failure in any posture.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: a first tray 16 (a push-up plate part 16A) as a loading member to be loaded with a plurality of recording sheets, which are to be supplied for image formation, in a piled state; a pick-up roller 32 which abuts on the recording sheet to deliver the recording sheet from the first tray 16 (the push-up plate part 16A); a compression coil spring 52 as an energizing means for energizing the first tray 16 (the push-up plate part 16A) toward the pick-up roller 32. The compression coil spring 52 is configured to change the energizing force thereof by changing the whole length of the compression coil spring 52 according to a case wherein the installation posture is a first posture, a horizontally placed posture (Fig.3(b)) for example and a case wherein the installation posture is a second posture, a vertically placed posture (Fig.3(c)) for example. |
