The heat exchanger has a collecting box (1) connected to a tube plate (4), where the collecting box is provided with a collecting box base (5) that is inserted in tube plate. The tube plate with two portions (2,3) has a positioned edge portion. The latter portion is provided with the inwardly directed hook-like elements, and is bent to engage behind the collecting box base by the hook-like elements. A partially circumferential channel is provided at the tube plate with a boundary. The latter portion of the tube plate is bent before connecting to the collecting box.
