The piston (23) has a front side (34) for the piston rod (22) extension, and a retraction side (35) for its retraction. The two piston sides are coupled by at least one overflow duct (36) independent of the coupling lines (57,58) to the hydraulic pump, with the duct closed in both directions by at least one stop member (38). On excess of a preset limit pressure, the stop member automatically opens lets the hydraulic fluid to pass to the position rear side. The overflow duct pref. extends outside of the drive cylinder (21), typically as a pipeline parallel to the cylinder.
