An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to mount an impurity blocking element to a drain element for preventing impurities from being introduced into the drain element and to make the impurity blocking element with an elastic material for damage-prevention. An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a drain pan(150) having a space for collecting condensed water generated outside an indoor heat exchanger, and a drain element(300) for draining the collected condensed water from the drain pan to the outside, wherein an impurity blocking element(380) made with an elastic element is mounted in the drain element for preventing impurities from being introduced into the drain element by impurity blocking protrusions(384) protruded at a lower end downward at a regular interval. |
