<p>The present invention relates to a field connection-type fiber optic connector, comprising: a housing, one end of which has an input hole for accommodating an object to be coupled, and which has a first hollow hole extending from the input hole to the other side thereof; a holder frame which is to be inserted into the first hollow hole and coupled so as to be exposed to the outside of the other side of the housing, and which has an accommodation space formed therein; a fastening member which has a second hollow hole for fastening the holder frame, which is arranged on the outside of the holder frame, which extends from the other side of the housing so as to be exposed, and which is detachably coupled to the holder frame; and a clamping unit arranged in the accommodation space of the holder frame so as to press or release, onto/from the holder frame, the bare optical fiber inserted in the holder frame through the second hollow hole of the fastening member in accordance with the operation of a button exposed to the outside of the housing. The above-described fiber optic connector is advantageous in that work can be performed by simply operating a button during the connection and separation of optical fibers in the field, thus significantly simplifying the connection and separation of optical fibers and enabling the reuse of the fiber optic connector.</p> |
