PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for electric device which exhibits excellent initial charge/discharge efficiency, while maintaining a high capacity, by maintaining a high reversible capacity.SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material for electric device contains a first active material consisting of a transition metal oxide represented by Li[NiCoMn[Li]]O(in the formula, a, b, c and d satisfy the relations; 0<d<0.5, a+b+c+d=1.5, 1.0<a+b+c<1.5), and a second active material consisting of a spinel type transition metal oxide represented by LiMMnO(in the formula, M represents at least one kind of metal element of valence 2-4, a' satisfies a relation 0≤a'<2.0), and having a crystal structure belonging to a space group Fd-3m. The content ratio of first and second active materials, in mass ratio, satisfies a relation 100:0<M:M<0:100(in the formula, Mrepresents the mass of the first active material, and Mrepresents the mass of the second active material). |
