PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide golf club heads having newly designed grooves, and to provide methods of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A groove of a club face has a bottom, a first side wall adjacent to the bottom, a second side wall adjacent to the bottom, a first top radius adjacent to the first side wall, and a second top radius adjacent to the second side wall. The second portion is located between the face portion and the top radius of the groove. The second portion is a substantially flat plane at a first angle relative to the face portion. The first angle is substantially at an angle of 8-18 degrees relative to the face portion. The groove conforms to 30° rule when measuring the second top radius from the first top radius. |
