PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel and a display device in which viewing angle characteristics are improved.SOLUTION: A display panel of a display device includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate disposed to face the upper substrate, a liquid crystal layer filled between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and a phase difference compensation layer that is disposed between the upper substrate and the liquid crystal layer and compensates for a light phase difference generated by the liquid crystal layer when light passes through the liquid crystal layer to propagate to the upper substrate. |
